Hi, my name is Lauren Witte, and I am a sophomore majoring in photojournalism at the University of Florida. I am a photographer for the Alligator and Fresh Take Florida, a student-run news service, and have bylines in several newspapers, such as the Miami Herald, Charlotte Observer and Gainesville Sun, as well as the Associated Press. My photos were been published 15 times in print and 10 times online. I took photographs for my church’s social media, website and printed materials for over two years. I have done several on-site shoots for various paying clients.

In addition to the thrill of capturing life in my lens, I love pasta, my friends and going on adventures, whether on a bike around campus or deep in the pages of a good book.
